The girls have been so cute. Chloe continues her love for Finley. Says the cutest things to her. The other morning she was saying " Mom, I am so proud of Finley, she is growing so big and eating so well for you, I am just so proud of her"! Too cute. Its s strange for me growing up as an only child and not knowing or understanding this immediate love, affection and protection of someone...other than having my own children.
Finley is blowing raspberry's, her favorite pastime, in preparation for the Christmas tree.

| Getting the Christmas tree in, and of course we are not moving fast enough for Chloe, since we do not move a mile a minute like she does. |
 |
| Quick story....we usually get our Christmas tree three weeks before Christmas. We always had fake trees growing up, as long as I can remember, so I love to have a fresh tree, even though its work. I kept saying to Jon, we need to get our tree....His response we have plenty of time....two weeks before Christmas I finally say this needs to get done. He of course thinks I am overreacting....until we go for a tree and low and behold...there are only 10 left!!! And they were not the prettiest. So this is what we are left with. You with think after all this time he would know I am always right!!! |
 |
| I am in charge with putting the lights on...which if you knew me would think WHAT!! I have no patience for it but.....Jon actually wanted to put the lights on only the front our first year we had a tree!!! I wouldn't have it, so I am stuck with the lights forever. |
 |
| Yay! The finished product, and little lite on the top |
We decided this year to make cut out cookies....I wanted to do my great great grandmothers recipe, but don't have the time or patience...so fake cut outs it is. And I am always disappointed with my cheat because they never taste good....but Chloe had fun

| Finley is our cheering section as usual |
