Jon and I had a very busy week off from work. The daycare was closed and we started the week off with a trip to Fantasy Island with Jason, Julie, Eva, Declan and Caitlin. The kids had a great time. It was sooooo hot, so needless to say we spent some time in the water park. Here are just a few pics of the kids on rights. Chloe was not interested in the rides. We did ride the big train which I forgot to take pics of! Chloe had her 18month check up which went well. She is growing good. Still a little peanut and is only 21.1 pounds...her height is good though. Very chatty. Picks up on words so well and using them to say up, or more please ect....thank you. So cute...almost all her teeth in, just working on the last two eye teeth for now! She started in a new room at daycare, the toddler room..its official! She is already drinking from a big cup with no lid and is no longer napping in a crib there. She is in the big time now!!! She really enjoys herself there. Cant complain. She has been doing well with the potty. We dont push it, but always ask and sometimes she will sit and others she wont. When she sits its for a while and she has gone potty a bunch of times now, so we are sure to celebrate it! She is sitting on the big potty at daycare as well....all in all she is coming along......

We put a little kiddie pool in the back yard at the beginning of summer and Chloe didnt really show a whole lot of interest in it. Between the weather or not being home she was only in about 4-5 times. So when we got to the water park I though for sure she wouldnt have anything to do with it, and it started slow....

But as time went on I was able to get her further into the water, and she actually let go of her death grip on me and started to enjoy herself and the waves crashin on her. Then we had a hard time tryin to get her out. She had a blast!
The next day we start to make our treck out to Cooperstown. Jon and I hadnt been since high school and though we would give it a try. Beautiful town and area, however, not toddler and stroller friendly. It was hard to navigate. What was harder than we though was traveling the 4 hours in a car with a toddler who does not nap, and then expecting her to ride around in a stroller in a quiet museum!! What were we thinking. It didnt take long her her to start to meltdown..poor thing....
She is starting to reak havoc...I let her out of the stroller because it wasnt busy and thought if she could strectch her legs it might help.......thought the binky might help....not so much....
We managed to survive relatively unscathed but Jon wasnt able to look at everything he wanted and it was defnetly cut short. Lesson learned with a toddler. We went back to the hotel and put her to bed at 7p and then were like what do we do now, its 7 and we are in a dark room with a toddler asleep in the pack in play....poor planning!!! Still Nice to be away. They next day on our way out we stopped at the farmers museum, which I loved!
Lots of beautiful old buildings that were just amazing. It was just opning and there were not many people so Chloe could get out and run. She did not however show any interest in the mary go round or the animals...She was say no..no.. when we saw animals walking around...
Horse and buggy that she was for some reason afraid of.....Daddy and Chloe on our way out and off to Aunt Kates!
Our trip visitng Aunt Kate started off with Chloe being absolutely petrified of their dog Bacchus. I cant figure out where her fear of dogs has happened. But its there. The poor thing could not even lift its head without Chloe freaking out, sso, ggoood ole Bubba had to hang with Mikes parents for a few days....
Violet has this nifty motorized trike that the kids loved...Here is Chloe and Noah checking it out with Matt and Jon. The men took over kid duty and it was hysterical watching them!
