Halloween Take #1

What you see here, is spider girl, 2013 style....glam glam. Chloe picked this out. Even though she looks sweet and demure, she was shooting people with her spider web wrists...I just failed to get it on camera!

And my little Bumble Bee....chloe wore this when she was a peanut too....

We went trick or treating to the Buffalo Niagara Heritage Museum. A village set in the 1800's decked out for Halloween for a safe fun place for small kids. We loved it despit the cold rainy weather. The girls were in good spirits though.

One of the village houses.

Finley's contribution...poor thing it was cold and here is her little red nose!

Huge blow up spider that Chloe was afraid to go near! Ha!

Finally getting some hot chocolate and donuts after collecting our loot. The hot chocolate was much needed.

There goes my bumble! Trying to race away from me, laughing her head off!

Month for Milestones!!

October was a big and busy month....
Milestones abound
Finley started walking!! 15 months old! She had been furniture walking for weeks and suddenly stood up in the kitchen, on her own, and walked!!! 8 steps I believe at first. We were all cheering her on! She was very excited. She hasn't looked back much since. I love this age. Everything is a new discovery and their excitement is contagious. Its such a joy....
She also has added a few words to her repertoire....Daddy, Momma, hi, hello, bye, uh oh, up. She has been a busy learner.....

And not to be outdone!! Chloe lost her first tooth!! Yes she is just 4.5..seemed early. She had a tooth loose for weeks, and I would check and check. Then I noticed she had her adult tooth growing in behind before the baby was out! I had never heard of such a think, but apparently its quite common. Affectionately known as "shark teeth".

Chloe has a second adult tooth, not coming behind some of her baby teeth. There are no other loose teeth at this time though.

So as the story goes, there is always a story....I have been watching Chloes loose tooth for a while, and this particular weekend it was basically benindg all the way down, but she would not let me pull it. So she goes to a birthday party with Jon and when she comes back I said " where did your tooth go", she instantly starts crying saying that daddy threw her tooth out!! apparently the tooth came out when she bit into her pizza and she handed it to Jon and didn't say anything. He though it was garbage and threw it out!!!! He felt so bad...he went back later and searched the garbage but to no avail. What a good daddy for trying!!

Chloe was very concerned that the Tooth Fairy would not know what happened to her tooth, so she wrote her a note and placed in under her pillow. Somehow, magically, the tooth fairy knew what happened and was still able to come!! She left Chloe $2 under her pillow!!! She was so excited that she made it, and snuck in without even waking her up!!! She came busting into my shower that morning to show me what she found! Cute pie....

Enjoying Fall!!!

The girls and I ventured out to Delaware Park one Saturday afternoon to enjoy the warm fall weather, and get some fresh air and exercise. The loop around the park is two miles, and chloe did almost the entire thing on her bike! There is one part with a steep hill that she needed help with, otherwise she was on her own....which was nice, it allowed Fin and I to run/walk with the stroller....

A little stop at the playground. Finley loves the swing, and Chloe was being a nice big sister and pushing her

We put Finley in the Cozey Coupe and she loved it! She did not want to come out. She found some rocks, in the trunk, left by Chloe, her license plate and a brush! Haha

We had so many apples!! I did not want them to go to waste so I tried my hand at some home made applesauce. First time. It was absolutely delicious. Rave reviews all around. If I could get that deliciousness into a pie....
