Pumpkinville 2012

Usually we go to Becker Farms for our fall fix and pumpkin gathering. This year we decided to try a new farm down near Ellicottville....Pumpkinville. We were definitely taking our city girls to the country on this trip. Like being back home, we were way way into country living. It was a nice fall ride, and a beautiful day. It was around 70degrees for October!! Love homemade donuts and cider. Chloe and I took a "hayride" funny there was no hay! I was looking forward to seeing the cider mill and having an educational moment with chloe, but it was closed and so was the corn maize. However, good fun was still had by all.....

Welcome to Pumpkinville!!! After 1hr and 15 mins in the car.....

Pumpkins everywhere. The "self pick" pumpkin patch was picked over, but there were plenty here to choose from....
Finleys excitement while we waited for pulled pork goodness
 70 degress in October

Love these pictures of her crawling through this wooden train

Genuine farm animals for Chloe to see, and she is genuinely afraid of going near them....as per usual.

Chloe insisted that she was going to go on a pony ride. Was very excited about it and talked about it constantly....I mean "after all mom, I rode ponies at school a bunch of times". She has in fact ridden a pony at her annual school hoe down....however, when confronted with the pony...there was no way she was getting on!!!

These cut out pictures as cheese tastic as they are, make me laugh hysterically....and its not often that you can get Jon into a photo.

Chloe and I are going on our Hayride, with no hay, and leaving Jon and Finley behind...

Some Ponies roaming the farm on our trip

 Again, these hilarious things.....

End of the day....back to the pumpkin patch to retrieve out pumpkins to take home.....
